Minutes of the Third Executive Committee Meeting
Held at Santhosh Pillai’s residence (15315 SE 136^TH LN Renton, WA 98059)
On 17^th June 2005 at 7 PM

Attendees: Wilson David (President), George Thomas (Vice President), Santhosh Pillai (Secretary), Prakash Menon (Treasurer)
EC Members who did not attend: PM Mathew (Ex-Officio), Tom George, Kalpana Hariprasad, Rakhee James, Santhosh Nair (Members), Deepak George (Youth Representative), Neetha Daniel (Youth Representative).
Note: Attendance of the Auditor is not required.

President Wilson David presided over the third meeting of EC of KAW for the year 2005.

The Committee approved the minutes of the 2^nd meeting with minor amendments. President Wilson David moved the motion to approve the meeting minutes. Treasurer Prakash Menon seconded the motion.

The Secretary moved the condolence motion on the demise of Mrs. T. E. Cherian, the mother-in-law of our Executive Committee member Tom George and grandmother of the youth representative Deepak George. The Committee approved the motion with amendments. The Committee also observed a one minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

The committee then discussed the Picnic preparations made by KAW. We assigned various last minute tasks to the members present. Tasks included:

• Buying BBQ-related items from Costco

• Planning and getting things for games

• Sending out e-mails and postal mails regarding Picnic

• Arranging paid food stalls in the picnic site

• Selling KAW T-shirts

• Transporting BBQ grills

The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 PM.
