Malayalam School അക്ഷര കളരി

Language is the most direct connection to our culture and as an organization for the Malayalee community, KAW believes it is our responsibility to get the learning to our children. KAW Malayalam School – Akshara Kalari is an initiative to further that vision

Akshara Kalari, which operates under KAW Charity, is registered with the Malayalam Mission initiative of the Govt. Of Kerala and follows the syllabus prescribed by the organization. Students are admitted to the different levels in the program based on age and proficiency. Classes run weekly from September to June. Classes are currently online but we are exploring ways in which classes can meet in person occasionally.

Akshara Kalari is completely run by our community volunteers. Our teachers and non teaching staff plan and execute the day to day activities of the school. If you are interested to volunteer as a teacher or non teaching staff please write to malayalamschool@kaow.org.

While there is no cost to attend the class, participants may offer donations to Malayalam School under KAW Charity. A KAW membership is required to attend the classes and this will be verified at the time of final enrollment confirmation.

Donations to Malayalam School can be done using PayPal link below. You can also double the impact by submitting a match request for the amount you donated or the hours you volunteered if your employer supports matching of charity donations/volunteer hours.
